You Don’t Know Me

1–2 minutes

You don’t know my name.
You don’t know my face.
You don’t know where I come from, who I love, what I do for a living, or what I look like when I’m sitting somewhere minding my business and judging everybody quietly.

And I like it that way.

Because this isn’t about me.

It’s about what I have to say.

You may agree with me.
You may think I’ve completely lost my mind.
You may read something here and swear I’ve been sitting in your living room listening to your conversations.

Either way, you still won’t know me.

I’m not here to build a personality around my face.
I’m not here to become somebody you follow because you think you know my life.

I came here to talk.

About life.
Love.
Culture.
Growth.
Bad decisions.
Good lessons.
Things people whisper about.
Things people argue about.
And the thoughts we usually edit before we say them out loud.

So no—

you don’t know me.

But if you stick around long enough, you might know exactly what I mean.
